The right presentation scope depends on the home, the existing furniture, the likely campaign and the way buyers need to understand the rooms. This guide gives you a practical starting point before requesting a property specific quote.
Complete repairs before styling day
Finish paint touch ups, leaking taps, damaged fittings, loose handles and other visible repairs before furniture arrives. Styling can improve presentation, but it should not be used to distract from obvious maintenance.
A clean, complete base gives the furniture and photography the best chance to work.
Remove more than you think you need to
For occupied homes, reduce items on benches, open shelving, bedside tables, bathroom vanities and outdoor areas. Buyers need enough detail to feel warmth, but not so much that they focus on the belongings.
Store personal photographs, paperwork, excess toys and day to day products away from the main rooms.
Prepare access and parking
Confirm lift bookings, loading areas, gate access and suitable parking before installation. Remove obstacles from entries, stairs and hallways so large furniture can move safely through the home.
Good access reduces delays and protects the property.
Clean after the heavy work
Complete building work and deep cleaning before installation where possible. After styling, only a light final clean should be needed before photography.
Windows, floors, kitchen surfaces, bathrooms and outdoor glass have a large effect on the finished images.
